All for love a Father gave For only love could make a way All for love the heavens cried For love was crucified
Oh how many times have I broken Your heart But still You forgive If only I ask And how many times have You heard me pray Draw near to me
Everything I need is You My beginning, my forever Everything I need is You
Let me sing all for love I will join the angel song Ever holy is the Lord King of Glory King of all
All for a love a Saviour prayed Abba Father have Your way Though they know not what they do Let the Cross draw man to You
God Bless! :o)

THE EXPO BUZZ - MOVIES
Due to overwhelming response at the Hollywood box office, The Last Samurai's director Edward Zwick has agreed to direct the Asian version of the box office hit.
The Asian version will be produced by Raintree Pictures and Ken Watanabe has once again been selected to co-star in the movie.
The Expo Buzz is proud to bring to you, up and coming rising star Prat Pong (aka Chak) as the leading man for The LAST Samurai.
It was a unanimous decision at Raintree Pictures for Prat Pong to star in the upcoming film as they wanted the film "to have a good reach in the Asian region", and that for the very least, "audiences as far as Thailand can definitely identify with their homegrown star".
The Expo Buzz is proud to bring to our readers exclusives of the upcoming film:

Well done! Let's continue to keep them in prayers for the items they have asked for. And whenever you can, stop to show concern, finding out any immediate needs they have at that time. If you think this cell group can help, then raise it up for discussion during cell meeting time.

Everest of Impossibility
Holiness
1 Pet 1: 13- 16 Prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when living in ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, for it is written “Be holy, because I am holy.”
The word is impossibility.
Would you think you can climb to the top of Mount Everest? The dangers of Everest include avalanches, crevasses, ferocious winds up to 125 mph, sudden storms, temperatures of 40 degrees Fahrenheit below zero, and oxygen deprivation. In the "Death Zone"—above 25,000 feet—the air holds only a third as much oxygen as at sea level, heightening the chances of hypothermia, frostbite, high-altitude pulmonary edema (when the lungs fatally fill with fluid) and high-altitude cerebral edema (when the oxygen-starved brain swells up).
Even when breathing bottled oxygen, climbers experience extreme fatigue, impaired judgment and coordination, headaches, nausea, double vision, and sometimes hallucinations.
More than 185 have lost their lives, making the odds on not coming down alive about one in eight. The dead are left where they perish because the effects of altitude make it nearly impossible to drag bodies off the mountain. Those ascending Everest pass through an icy graveyard littered with remnants of old tents and equipment, empty oxygen canisters, and frozen corpses.
To even attempt to climb the foot of the mountain is a task that needs months of acclimatising and preparation. Talk about reaching the peak, it is something layman like us would not want to spare a single moment to think about. It needs super determination, super strong will power and super skills to be able to even get halfway to the top.
But today, God is saying something else. You can reach the peak, the peak of holiness. It is possible because He has done it. He is calling us to prepare our minds for action – to be self-controlled and not conform to our evil desires of the past.
But why do we need to be holy? Because God is holy and the way for us to get close to him is to be holy.
Can we really be holy? Of course, otherwise why would God tell us to be holy? He’d say, be yourself since you can never be holy. But God didn’t say that, instead, what did he say?
So what is being holy? Longman defines it as being connected with God and rightfully so. And to be so, is in a state where the mind, body, soul and heart are simply connected to God.
How then can I be holy? Col 3:1-17 gives us the hows to be holy. Like climbing Mount Everest, it takes a lot of training, acclimatising and discipline before we can actually reach the peak, but it is achievable. We just need to break the hows down and start to work on and deal with them one at a time. Like what Paul said, start with setting your minds on things above because God knows way beforehand that the things of the world are going to be draw our attention from him. And it ain’t going to be any simpler to be living in Singapore where everyone looks beautiful and everything looks so good to own. So we need to make pockets of time to disengage from our daily lives and start to look to the heavens and draw near to him. In quietness and trust is your salvation.
Would you like to be holy? Would you like to be close to God? If this is your heart’s desire, then open your heart to God
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. And all those who are weary and burdened, come and I will give you rest.
Lord Jesus, these words are not my own, but the words that come from your Holy Word. I want the kingdom of heaven, I want rest from the world and all the desires. I want you. Help me take the step to overcoming myself and all the evil desires, and conquer the Everest of Holiness. I commit my life to you today. Bless me and keep me. In Jesus name I pray.
